I can’t say “I do” Without You!
You’ve just said “Yes” to one of the most important questions of your life. Now that the planning has begun and the Pinterest pinning has started: who do you turn to immediately? Your besties — your squad! The girls that have been there for you through thick and thin. They have been there for your giant milestones and some of your favorite memories, so of course you want them to be there standing by your side on your big day. Your bridal party are essentially the VIP’s of the wedding, so treat them like it when you “propose” the question of being a bridesmaid. If you are looking for creative and unique inspo for your girls, look no further! Make the moment you ask, “Will you be my Bridesmaid?” a one to remember with these fun ideas:
1. Scratch Off Cards
Who doesn’t love scratchers? This is such a cute idea – it’s interactive, builds a little bit of anticipation, and they can keep the cute note after. You can customize the inside to phrase the question however you like… and of course a custom one for your MOH!
2. Sweets, for Your Sweet Besties
There’s no doubt that most of us girls have a sweet tooth, so why not give a gift they can also eat and enjoy? Bring any of these pictures into a local bakery or sweetshoppe and ask if they do custom orders, or have some fun with DIY. Here are just a few different types of delicious treats to incorporate into your tasty bridesmaid proposal.

Donuts
“I donut want to get married without you” The saying is punny, cute and a donut is the perfect treat! You can DIY the box and get each of your bridesmaids their favorite donut to place inside. For any of you in the Los Angeles area – I highly recommend checking out California Donuts. Also the famous Voodoo Doughnuts has 6 locations across the USA now. And for my Canadians, you can’t go wrong with anything from Tim Horton’s but how cute would the sprinkle donut be?
Cookies
This set would be a super cute way to incorporate your bridal colors! You can take these Inspo pics to any custom dessert shoppe or bakery and have them replicate these ideas! Cookies in the shape of diamonds, you could even have an edible picture of you two placed on a cookie, there are so many ways to get creative with cookies. DIY — bake and decorate your own! And we can’t forget about cupcakes! Not into extravagance? Why not a simple, cute cupcake with a candle in it, complete with your very own original “will you be my bridesmaid song” and have them blow it out if the answer is yes!
3. “Pop” the Question.. Literally
One way to pop the question (literally) to your bestie is via balloon with a sweet note and confetti inside.
This idea is also something extremely easy to DIY. You can purchase the supplies (balloon, confetti, safety pin, string) from any craft store or *win* even the dollar store!
Second way to literally pop the question is to celebrate over some bubbly.
You can buy your favorite champagne, order a label or even make your own! This is a fun way to not only ask your bestie, but to have a little toast to the festivities together. This idea can also be used with a bottle of wine, if your girls are more into wine than champagne!
Here is a great resource for champagne and champagne gift ideas.
4. Jewelry
Jewelry is a great gift idea because it’s timeless, something they can wear on the day of your wedding, keep forever and every time they wear it, it will always remind them of your special day!
Bracelets
I love this particular bracelet because it incorporates a knot and it’s personalized. You can ask by saying something along the lines of “I can’t tie the knot without you.”
Necklaces
A dainty necklace with your bridesmaids name on it, something they will definitely cherish forever. Equally as cute… just having a necklace made with just their initial. Both can be worn on a daily basis and will always have a special meaning behind it!
Cosmetic Bag
Lastly, going along with the jewelry theme, you can toss in a little beauty gift for your girls: a personalized makeup/jewlery bag.
You can put the jewelry inside and that way it’s packaged with the question. This bag would even be cute if you included some little beauty goodies like bath bombs and nail polish. Or simply gift them the bag on its own! Overall the bag is a great idea, and will save you from having to package up your gift.
5. Gift Set/Box
This is where you can get really clever and creative, perhaps even incorporate some of the ideas above into one big gift! A really cute idea I love would be a pampering gift box. Your besties have treated you so well, they deserve to treat themselves, and what better way than with an at home spa night.
Feel free to get creative and make your own! It’s a fun DIY project you can add some bath bombs, candles, body lotion, face masks, lipsticks — the options are endless. Just think of your girls and what they would enjoy.
Here is the ultimate gift box that has it all — including custom packaging. If you don’t have time to DIY this is the way to go. It’s all ready to go delivered to your door, and has a little bit of everything. I’ve personally ordered the “Bridal Shower Box” and it was fantastic quality and so cute.
And how cute is the box it comes in!? There are even multiple design choices! Obviously customizable to the name of your bridesmaids–I love this set so much. I think it’s the perfect gift to surprise your girls. Plus they can keep the box and use it for makeup storage, or even just home decor.

A bonus idea that would be the ultimate surprise… Ask your bestie/s to join you for manicures. Arrange with your salon before hand and have your colors picked out for when you arrive. Maybe a color that’s in your wedding color scheme. Before the manicurist begins she can pull out your gift + nail color and this is guaranteed to surprise her! And then you can spend the rest of the time enjoying each others company and most likely sharing ideas for the wedding!
I hope this post inspires you to spoil your girls. Remember at the end of the day what your besties will appreciate the most is the fact that you want to include them in your big day!
